Outreach is one of six non-negotiable core values of Terrace Church. Terrace seeks to connect with individuals and families in an authentic and dynamic manner, keeping our members actively involved in expressing their faith through service.
We have many activities aimed at supporting individuals who are in recovery from drug (NA) and gambling (GA) addiction as well as persons living in transition or crisis. Ministry teams teach weekly spirituality classes and Bible studies. We have a bus providing transportation to Sunday school and worship services. We organize monthly Bingo and organize monthly fellowship activities with other outside groups.
See our calendar for meeting dates and times.
Family Ministries Make a Difference
Terrace also is involved in outreach through our children and youth programs. The church and the school are committed to working together on projects that encourage families to work together and grow in their faith as they help others in the community.
Church Families Get Involved at Thanksgiving
Every November, families of the church work with the Outreach Team to host a Thanksgiving Dinner at the church for residents of Santa Maria Hostel, Garden Place Apartments, Turning Point Center and the general community. The entire congregation gets involved in the event, preparing and serving dinner to as many as 150 individuals.
